What's "CITE readiness" and why does it matter?
It's a set of signals that make a page more likely to be quoted in AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity and similar AI answers: a visible freshness date, FAQ schema, a clear direct-answer opening paragraph, and links to primary sources. None of these guarantee a citation, but pages missing all of them rarely get one.
Why did my page get "no publish" even with a decent score?
A few checks are vetoes — missing title, missing H1, a noindex tag, or content under 150 words fail the page outright regardless of the numeric score, the same way one broken fundamental would sink an editorial review.
